My blower has an oil leak coming from the plugs, what should I do?

Is the plug knocked, broken or loose?

An oil leak coming from the plugs is normally caused by the plug being knocked, broken or loose.

  • Check there’s no visible signs of damage.
  • If there is no apparent damage; make sure that the plug is tight. Use of a fibre or metal seal washer is essential with flange plugs.
  • If you are still having difficulty; try changing the plug for a new one making sure that the blower isn’t in operation and is safely isolated.

Make sure that the oil level is correct.
