My blower is overheating, what’s wrong with it and what should I do?

.

As blowers contain moving parts and are working above ambient pressure, the temperature of the blower will be warm and we recommend that it isn't touched.

However, if you notice that the blower is hotter than usual, or there is discolouration to the machine then please check our troubleshooting guide.

  • Check the inlet air filter is clean
  • Check for correct drive belt tension as slack belts will make the blower run slower and at a higher temperature.
  • Check for blockages in the line which would cause an increase in line pressure.
  • If you still have an overheating issue, please contact us.
