Blower Specifications

From the manufacturer:

The RNT blower is a pulsation reducing, high frequency three-lobed blower.

Design

The rotating impellers have 3 sealed lobes, dynamically balanced within a forged housing.

The discharge side of the housing has been designed to reduce vibration and pulsation of the exiting air.

The blower bearings and gears are oil lubricated with internal splash discs.

Cylinder (air housing): Cast Iron GG25
Headplates (bearing housing): Cast Iron GG25
Oil Sumps: Cast Iron GG25

Impellers (complete shaft and rotor lobes): CK-45 Forged Steel

Gears: 18Cr Mo4 Steel, Hardened and Ground

RNT 34.10 to 36.20
Cyllinder (air housing): GGG50 Nodular Cast Iron
Headplates (bearing housing): Cast Iron GG25
Oil Sumps: Cast Iron GG25

Impeller lobes: GGG-50 Nodular Casting
Impeller shafts: CK-45 Steel

Gears: 18Cr Mo4 Steel, Hardened and Ground

Sealing

The drive shaft outlet is sealed with a radial lip seal.

Internally, the oil sumps are sealed from the air chamber (housing) by way of piston sealing rings and relief holes to prevent oil misting.
